About me
Hi,
I am an illustrator working and living in Australia. I’m also a mental health nurse educator and graphic design student. Plus I have a wonderful family. All that keeps me pretty busy.
I love to draw and paint illustrations that capture the imagination and heart of children and adults alike. I bring a bit of fun and joy and a little bit of cheekiness to my illustration.
I work in traditional and digital mediums, or a mixture of both depending on what I'm working on. I am often exploring the tools I use as I go. I love spontaneity.
My happy place is developing funny, whimsical, quirky characters who have the potential to get into all sorts of adventures, from the most mundane, to the weird and wonderful.
What is a dibbydabby?
The name dibbydabby is derived from one of the early words our daughter used / created when learning to talk. We think it was meant to be 'Teletubby’s' but dibbydabby stuck :)
My illustration style
My style is flexible and diverse but I can maintain consistency when required.
My main strength lays in characters with substance and personality - evidenced by the feedback I have received from others.​ I enjoy working with my characters as I watch each unique persona develop.

I absolutely adore drawing for children and adults, for anyone who hasn't lost that wonderful ability to enjoy and ponder the wonders of childhood and continue to imagine wonderful, whimsical, and fanciful things.
